WEALTH

READ: DEUTERONOMY 28:11-14
For quite some time now, I have been addressing the subject of prosperity. I have chosen to teach Go’s people on the importance of possessing the riches of Christ because I know that poverty does not glorify God. If God is the owner of heaven and earth, why must His children live as beggars and paupers? God has not destined you to be poor. The Bible even tells us that Jesus became poor in order to make us rich. Therefore, you must rise up and possess what God has graciously provided for your benefit. However, you must know the pre-requisites for possessing prosperity and wealth. In Proverbs 10:4, the Bible says: “He who deals with a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes one rich.” Those who would work hard would become rich. The lazy ones would stay poor. Proverbs 12:24 says “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slothful will be put to forced labor.” If you are diligent you will become a ruler because you will become rich and rule over the poor. This is why God says we would always find the diligent person among kings, and not among labourers. Proverbs 22:29 says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before unknown men.” Rich men flock together. This will also be the case in Heaven. When we get to Heaven, we will find everything graded – the Trinity, the four living beings, the twenty-four elders, the archangels, those in the court of God, until you come to the others. Deuteronomy 28:12-13 has some promises: “The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.” Can a poor man lend to nations? Christians must become rich. When we become rich, we will be able to help the Government and so tell them what we want. We have to be rich.
