GENESIS 4:9-12
Most of
what happens to human beings on earth can be traced to spiritual sources.
Immediately you locate a problem in your life you should begin to think about
the likely spiritual causes. Whenever someone is under a curse, a lot of
problems emerge in the physical realm. Therefore, it is unwise to take anything
for granted. You must deal with any problem sponsored by curses. An embargo can
be placed on a business venture because of a curse; thus a business can be
barren. Joblessness and lack of progress could be due to a curse. Inability to
win souls can be a curse. Regular abortions or miscarriages can also be a
curse. The people of Jericho said the land was barren and this was because the
water was cursed. When their animals conceived and drank from the water, they
cast their young. Abortion means, instead of having a baby, you have nothing.
Some people are always almost succeeding, but they never succeed. This is a
curse. There are students who pass every year except the final year exams. This
is a good example of abortion caused by a curse. Someone who aborts will first
have a swollen stomach, as it were, and then, suddenly, the stomach will go
down. We can refer here to those who are always rising and falling. They are
rich today, but become poor tomorrow. Some people gather money to build a house
or start a project, and as soon as they begin t execute their plans, a problem
comes up and all their money is used to solve that problem. They then start all over again. There are
also those who work like elephants but feed like rats. This is because they are
under a curse. They make real money but they have nothing to show for it. This
is a very good sign of a curse. Is there any indication in your life that you
are operating your finances under a curse? You must not sweep anything under
the carpet. You must come to terms with reality and take necessary actions.
Pray fervently until you are free from all curses.
MEMORIZE:
GENESIS 4:11 –So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth
to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
