MONEY IN A FISH

READ: MATTHEW 17:24-27
Are you looking for money, good, big money? Go fishing! Your money is in 'fish.' When you catch fish and sell them, money will come to you.
We live at a time when many want wealth, but they are not ready to obtain it through labour. Today many are looking for money through lottery, fraud, wishful thinking and other easy-to-get means. But that is not where their money is. “Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.” (Proverbs 13:11).
'Fish' refers here to a means of livelihood. Take a job. Or pick up a contract and be gainfully employed. It is when you have laid hands on something that God will channel his blessings to you through that source. Without a means of livelihood, do not expect God's blessings to be released on nothing.
“In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.” (Proverbs 14:23). It does not matter what you do, whether it is a blue or white or green collar job. There is a woman in the South West of Nigeria who has turned akara (bean cakes) into gold. She established a business, built houses  and bought vehicles by selling akara.
The Lord led an accountant in America to quit his well-paid job to sell groundnut. God turned this into gold. His groundnut became so unique that is was what the president would eat and wasin great demand in high places.
As a child of God, you have an advantage over the unbeliever. Your father is the one who has the power and keys to make wealth. He can offer all the guidance you need to make your business profitable. Why not take advantage of this and ask him to lead you to the 'fish' where your silver and gold are hidden? He will happily do so.
MEMORIZE: PROVERBS 14:23 -In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.
