OUTSTANDING BREAKTHROUGH

READ: GENESIS 22:15-18
You can have an outstanding breakthrough. You may have received some miracles already. However, I want you to know that, in spite of what God has already done for you, you can still move into the realm of outstanding breakthroughs. To understand what it means to experience an outstanding breakthrough, it is important to take a look at scriptural illustrations and teachings on the subject. Therefore, let us examine some Bible characters who had great breakthroughs. The God of breakthroughs introduced Himself in Exodus 3:15 as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He called Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob because they all had breakthroughs. Abraham was 95 years old before he had his major breakthroughs. He met with the God of breakthroughs and the promises of God were fulfilled in his life. Genesis 22:18 gives us the kernel of Abraham’s breakthrough: “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Isaac also had a great breakthrough. There was a great famine in the land but, while others were suffering, Isaac was prospering. He prospered so much that a whole nation envied him. Isaac had a breakthrough because he was linked with Abraham who had a breakthrough. Those who have great breakthroughs are always linked with people who had great breakthroughs. If you are linked with a man of God or a believer who has breakthrough, you too will have a breakthrough. God said He would bless Abraham whereas he promised to multiply Isaac until he would become like stars of the heavens and the sand by the seashore. He said Isaac, being one of the seeds of Abraham, would possess the gates of his enemies and through him the nations of the earth would be blessed. Genesis 26:13-14 tells us more about Isaac: “The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him.” Do you know that your own breakthrough can surpass that of your leader?
