LEVITICUS 11:43-47
If you can
live in a way that make you dwell in the presence of the Lord forever, you have
nothing to fear anymore. When trouble comes, God will hide you in his inner
room until the war or battle is over. You will become untouchable ad will find
yourself always above your enemies. Even if the devil should gather all his
host against you alone, you will only be singing praises to God because they
will not be able to reach you. God wants you to wear Him as armour. He wants to
be your light and salvation so that there will be nothing to fear, day or
night. Psalm 118:6 says: “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” If you are sure that the Lord is on your side,
then there is nothing to fear. However, how can you have the Lord on your side
when you commit adultery, steal or commit any other sin? Proverbs 3:1-2 says; “My
son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of
days and long lie and peace they will add to you.” Also, Proverbs
3:21-26 says, “My son, let them not depart from your eyes- keep sound wisdom and
discretion; so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you
will walk safely in your way. And your foot will not stumble. When you lie
down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be
sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when
it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from
being caught.” If you live holy, you can sleep like a baby. There will
be nothing that wizards and witches can do to you. If you want to trample on a
serpent’s head with bare feet, you risk being hurt in the process. In the same
manner, you must make sure that you wear the LORD as a garment, day and night,
to be able to face the devil. If you delight in obeying the Lord, you will be
eternally secure. You are eternally secure, provided you are holy. Remember,
holiness makes you the apple of God’s eye. Keep on pursuing holiness as this
will keep you close to the Father’s heart.
