PROVERBS 19:1-7
Modern day
Christian prefer that type of gospel that gives them the liberty to do what
they like. Many people today want to enjoy the better of two worlds: they are
one leg in the church and the other leg in the world. Most church goers detest
the old-fashioned gospel, but the Bible says: “Jesus answered them, Most
assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave
does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the
Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. I know that you are Abraham’s
descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.”
(John 8:34-37). Do you pay your tithes? You may not like this but I have to
tell you the truth. Some of us do not pay all our tithes. Instead of 10% we pay
7% and think that God does not understand mathematics. We have forgotten that
He is the greatest mathematician ever. Do you pay your vows? Ecclesiastes 5:4
says: “When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for He has no
pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed.” Are you forgiving all
those who have offended you? Mark 11:25 says: “And whenever you stand praying,
if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven
may also forgive you your trespasses.” If you do not forgive, God will
not forgive you and your prayers will not be answered. After subjecting yourself
to a rigorous self-examination and you discover that you have defaulted in any
of the ways listed above, you have to make amends. God says in 2 Chronicles
7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray
and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ” God shall
hear your prayers today and He will heal your body, soul and spirit.

MALACHI 3:10 –Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food
in My house, and prove Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, If I will not
open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there
will not be room enough to receive it.
