READ: PSALM
40:1-5
Our God is
gracious. He often meets us with grace when we expect judgment. Ephesians 2:4
says God is rich in mercy. Psalm 103:11 says His mercy reaches to the heavens.
He has been merciful before and He will be merciful again. Lamentations 3:22-23
tells us that it is out of the mercy of God that we are not consumed. This
mercy is new every morning. You will get you share of this great mercy. God has
grace for you today and your tomorrow. He is the One who knows tomorrow. In
Revelation 1:8 He says: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning
and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the
Almighty. ” Because He is Alpha
and Omega, your future is not in the hands of any man. This is why David said
in Psalm 31:15: “My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and
from those who persecute me.” The prophet of God, Elisha, once said
that there would be supernatural abundance within twenty-four hours in a city
witnessing severe famine and desolation. God can do a lot in twenty-four hours.
Give God twenty-four hours and He will pack a lot into it. In Exodus 14:21-28,
within twenty-four hours, God opened a way in the Red Sea and drowned all the
enemies of the children of Israel and put an end to their bondage forever. In
Daniel 6:16-24, within twenty-four hours, God silenced animal lions and human
lions and then promoted Daniel. Nobody ever troubled him again. In 2 Kings
4:1-7, the Bible tells us of a widow who was in debt. Creditors came and gave
her twenty-four hours within which to pay up, or they would take her children
into captivity. Within twenty-four hours, God provided for her and she paid off
her debts and also had enough left to live on for the rest of her life. Today,
God is telling you: within twenty-four hours, the siege over your life will be
over. Within twenty-four hours, anything called fear will not be heard of
anymore. Within twenty-four hours, there will be freedom. Within twenty-four
hours, your mountains will move. Receive God’s word today and you will have a
fresh testimony.
MEMORIZE:
JOHN 14:27 –Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world
gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid.
