FITTING INTO HIS PLAN

READ: GENESIS 11:27-32
God has a plan for everyone He has created on earth, whether they are saved or not. The state of spiritual death in unbelievers makes it difficult for God to fulfil His plan in their lives. The day you become born again, your spirit man is recreated in Christ for that moment, God begins to execute His plan for your life to the extent you are willing to cooperate with Him. As long as you refuse to be born again you will continue to frustrate God’s plan for your life. Repent and yield to Him today. Everyone on earth has one dream or another. Believers and non-believers alike have certain ambitions, desires or personal plans for their lives. Abraham was not an exception. According to Joshua 24:2, his family members were idol worshippers but he wanted to be different. He craved for the true God who created the universe. Also, his wife was barren. He wanted a child and it occurred to him that the true God should be able to give him a child after the idols of Mesopotamia had failed. Meanwhile, God was looking for a man whom He could relate with and through whom He could bless the world. As He checked their hearts one after another, He finally saw what He wanted in Abraham.
What God sees in your heart is what determines how and where you fit into His sovereign plan. According to Hebrews 11:23, God saw in Moses a strong desire to liberate the suffering of Israelites and fulfil God’s plan. He was ready to please God even to his detriment and God chose him. God saw something in Gideon that led to his selection. In Judges 6:11-14, God saw a heart of concern, a great burden to liberate God’s people from the Midianites and he was chosen. God saw a genuine and perfect heart in David. He saw the desire to silence any Goliath and glorify God. He also saw in him a heart that would worship and praise Him, so He chose him. (1 Samuel 16:1). What has God seen in your heart? Are you moved with compassion for the lost? Are you concerned for fellow Christians who are in need? You fit into God’s plan. Find out how and where. If you have the right mind set, God will fish you out to fulfil His plan. Your anointing cannot be greater than your level of concern for God’s people and kingdom. The higher the compassion, the greater the anointing.
MEMORIZE: COLOSSIANS 2:13 –For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
