PATHWAY TO PEACE

READ: ISAIAH 48:12-19
God is the author of peace. Any violation of His word will get you off the track. The moment a believer sins, he loses his peace. According to Genesis 3:24, after God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, He positioned an angel there. This is very instructive. In an angel has been placed by God to stand in your way, there is nothing you can do to remove him. Many have prayed and fasted, yet the obstacle they seek to remove remains there. Perhaps you have commanded mountains to move but, rather than move, they become bigger. It might do to find out the cause. If you are not making progress because God is the One resisting you, you have to do something about it today. Those who put their trust in God have perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3-4 says: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” When all is well between you and God and you ask for something, you would know immediately that the answer will come and you will have peace. Why do many of us lack peace? Could it be because of what is written in Isaiah 48:17-18? “Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” There is a difference between heeding and hearing. If you heed, you will have peace. Some of us have probably not been listening to the voice of God. But there is no peace for the wicked, according to Isaiah 48:22: “There is no peace, says the LORD, for the wicked.” Concerning those who have no relationship with the Lord, the Bible says: “The way of peace they know not.” There is no peace outside Christ. Why not plant your feet on the pathway of peace today by giving your life to Christ.
