OPENING HEAVENLY WINDOWS

READ: LUKE 11:9-23
“I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest, I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered.” (Amos 4:7). God has the keys of the windows of heaven. He can choose to open them for one person and shut them for another. May God open the windows of heaven to you. Thank God that if the windows are shut to you, there is something you can do to have them opened. The first thing is to praise and worship him in the situation you find yourself in. Paul and Silas were imprisoned for serving God. They did not grumble, but praised God until the windows opened and they were free.
The enemy could have imprisoned your finances because you have been causing havoc in the kingdom of Satan. Paying all your tithes according to Malachi 3:10 can cause God to open the windows of heaven to you. Do not stop at tithing just your income; you can also tithe the extras, like the gifts you get, and the windows will be opened wide to you. Many are put off when told to give offerings because some men of God have abused this. Understood. But you cannot say because accidents occur on the roads, you will never travel by car again. Solomon attracted open heavens through his offering (2 Chronicles 7:12-14).
In addition to having the windows of heaven opened to you, you must humble yourself, because God gives grace only to the humble. Then you need to progress from asking to seeking, and knocking on the windows of heaven (Luke 11:9-10). Seeking the Lord with all your heart is another way to open the windows. Those who seek him will not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10). Moreover, when you seek God instead of his blessing, you will find him and automatically you will have all the blessings you desire, because they are in him. Begin to align yourself to God’s will. Storm heaven’s windows now in prayer – they will be opened to you.
MEMORIZE:  AMOS 4:7 –I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest, I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered.
