READ: PSALM
91:1-10
Certain
aspects of the Christian life are so deep that novices find it difficult to
comprehend the depth and the breadth of walking with God. Thus, sanctified
believers are generally misunderstood by those who know nothing concerning what
the Bible means when it says, “deep calls unto deep.” Those who are
close to sanctified believers may not understand them but the Lord, whom they
serve, understands them. The sanctified one is lonely, in relation to others,
but not lonely in relation to Jesus Christ. The moment you become sanctified,
you are likely to run into trouble with friends who will counsel you to take
things easy. Thus, the sanctified lives a life of loneliness. The main desire
of the sanctified is to please Jesus Christ. However, the sanctified has a
certain kind of joy that others cannot have. One of the joys of sanctification
is absolute security. No silly demon will dare come near you if you are the
favourite of the King of kings. Any demon that comes near the sanctified will
be roasted because God is a consuming fire. Psalm 91:1-10 is very applicable to
the sanctified. Because the sanctified one lives a transparently holy life, he
is not bothered by the fear of exposure. Jesus said in John 3:20-21, talking
about those who want to be sanctified: “For everyone practising evil hates the light
and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who
does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that
they have been done in God.” When you have nothing to hide, you will
begin to know what is called security. When you have nothing to hide, you are
ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. You have nothing to hide, you can
boldly have fellowship with Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:12-13 says, “For
the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their
prayers; but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil. And who is he
who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?” Nobody can
harm you when you are a favourite of God.

1 PETER 3:12 –For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are
