LEVELS OF PRAYERS

READ: MATTHEW7:7-11
There are many levels of prayer. The higher the realm of prayer you get the more answers to prayers you will receive. There are prayers and there are prayers. There are people in the Bible and contemporary day who distinguished themselves by virtue of the ability to render effective prayers. Solomon stands out as one man who took prayer to an unprecedented level. Solomon attracted the attention of God so much that God paid him a visit. God told him to ask for anything that he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom and understanding. He got what he wanted; added to that, he got victory, peace, joy and prosperity. There are prayers that attract the attention of heaven. The other things you have to do to get the window of heaven to open is humble yourself. The windows of heaven will not open for you if you are not humble. God gives grace to the humble and resist the proud. God’s ears are open to the humble. Again, you will also have to pray for the windows of heaven to open for you. Many of us do not pray. How can you understand the levels of prayer if you do not pray? The Bible gives us the various levels of prayer, in Luke 11:9-10: “And I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” The elementary level entails asking. When you get to the secondary level of prayer, you then beginto seek. By the time you get to the university level of prayer, you are beginning to knock the windows of heaven. Also, you will have to seek his face. To get to the highest level of prayer, you must lean how to flex your spiritual muscles.
MEMORIZE: LUKE14:28 –For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it.
