BESIEGED?

READ: 2 KINGS 6:24-30
The Syrian king sought to arrest Elisha and the king of Israel, but could not succeed. He then decided to surround their city, so that by the time they had exhausted their food supplies and could not restock, they would surrender. The famine that followed was so rife that people regressed from eating bird’s dung to eating their own children. The devil is a stubborn enemy who will not easily accept defeat. This means if he tries to get you through fornication and fails, do not relax because he will try something else. Hence 1 Peter 5:8-9 encourages us to resist him steadfastly. Isaiah 14:12 says Satan weakened the nations. He is a strategist and knows how to weaken his target.
If Satan tries to attack you and fails, he will try your spouse. If he fails, he will try your children. If he doesn’t succeed, he may attack your business, all in an attempt to weaken you. That is why God intends for you to become his battleaxe, so as to begin to terrorize the kingdom of darkness. Elisha could not be arrested by the king of Syria. He had become noted in hell. Have you reached the stage where you name causes sorrow and fear in the camp of the enemy?
Has the enemy surrounded you, your business, finances, home or ministry? The Lord will send you help in Jesus’ Name. A business under siege will receive no fresh orders, no new contracts, no matter what you do. Customers will be lost, savings will dwindle and the organisation will prepare to wind up.
A family under siege will have no new babies. Mysterious sickness will circulate among members of that family, costing them huge hospital bills. There will always be quarrels, insecurity, distrust and hatred. An individual under siege may incur more expenses. Nobody will be prepared to help him. Any step he takes meets disappointment. Where others obtain supplies, when his turn comes the supply will be exhausted. After him, the supply returns. Are you in a situation of siege? I have good news for you! It will soon be over. Jesus will make a way for you. Call on him.
MEMORIZE: PSALM 18:39 –For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
