GOD’S INCESSANT POWER

READ: JEREMIAH 32:26-27
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). Power belongs to the Godhead, namely God the Father, Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit, as clearly stated in Psalm 62:11, Matthew 28:18 and Acts 1:8. Although scientists have defined power as the ability to work, we can redefine it as the ability to get things done.
Power in this sense means different things to different people. For the sick, power means healing; for the barren, power means the ability to conceive or be fruitful. For the poor, power means the ability to gain and control wealth and riches. For the perpetual tenant, power means the ability to become a landlord. The Lord shall empower you into any area you are trusting him for this year, in Jesus’ Name. As a child of God, you need to flow in the current of God’s power, that is, allow the tide to carry you along. That is the best way to enjoy God’s power.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38). Jesus Christ flowed in God’s power. He allowed God to carry him along, hence he was able to record all those miracles done by the Holy Spirit. To flow in God’s power today, you must allow God’s river of power to carry you in whichever direction God dictates, at his speed and by his timing. If you conflict with God on any of these, the flow will be obstructed.
That someone else is succeeding as a banker; a worker in an oil firm or an importer of cars does not mean that you will make it in any of these areas. God’s plan for you might be quite different. Not everyone should be an employee. God has designed some people to be employers. The ultimate is finding out what God has planned specifically for your life and staying with it. That way, the power for wealth will be released to you. Decide to flow in God’s power today, submitting to his will.
