REHOBOTH

READ: GENESIS 26:17-22
Isaac moved to the valley of Gerar and lived there. Then he started searching for water. He dug several wells but the local herdsmen forcibly took them from him. Eventually he dug a well far away and was left to enjoy the fruit of his labour, so he called the place Rehoboth. This means a type of breakthrough. When someone is digging a well in a dry land, and he suddenly comes across water after several days of hard work, or suddenly finds abundant oil in a well after much prospecting, that is a breakthrough. From that moment onwards his thirst will be quenched, and money will begin to flow. All you efforts have to continue until you achieve your breakthrough.
In Scriptures, several people reached that place of expansion, and rest and breakthrough. David woke up one morning as a shepherd boy and by evening he had been anointed king (1 Samuel 16:1). Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were taken as slaves to Babylon. When God decided to give them a breakthrough, he made them special to the king, who elected them as some of his wise men. Through a dream he interpreted, Daniel excelled above all the wise men of Babylon and the king bowed down to him.
There were many widows in the days of Elijah but god singled out the widow of Zarephath for prosperity (Luke 4:25-26), giving his boat to the Lord to use one morning, Peter, who had toiled all night, got his breakthrough. He caught so many fish that his boat began to sink. Thereafter, he was promoted from fisherman to a fisher of men. You too will have your breakthrough! The Lord will take you to your Rehoboth, a land of rest and expansion – a place where enemies will stop contending with you, in Jesus’ Name. The One who did it for Peter will give you your breakthrough in business, academics or family.
Yield to him today. Obey whatever he says you should do, be it foolish or not. Peter thought when Jesus asked him to throw his nets that the timing was wrong, but thank God he obeyed. God may tell to take that step at a supposedly wrong time. Just go ahead and do it. You will enter your breakthrough.
MEMORIZE: PSALM 107:30 –Then they are glad because they are quiet; so He guides them to their desire haven.
