CAN SATAN STOP THE SUN?

READ: PSALM 30:1-12
“And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat” (1 Samuel 1:7).
Hannah’s adversary not only provoked her at home but also in the temple several miles away. All those who are taunting you at home, in school and in your office will soon be put to shame in Jesus name. Hannah was a very sad woman. She wept every month. Are you weeping because of a particular problem in your life? Your weeping shall soon be over for good. Psalm 30:5 says “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”. Your joy is coming. And your joy shall be full. The only one who can prevent your joy from coming is the One who alone can prevent the sun from rising. And He is saying your joy shall be full. If Satan and all his numerous demons are powerful, let them reverse a single decree God made that ensures day and night continue to follow each other. Satan loves night because he is of the dark kingdom. That is when they hold most of their meetings and operate. If he was powerful he would have destroyed the sun so that there will be permanent night. As long as he cannot stop the sun from rising, he cannot stop your blessing. Joshua by a decree stopped the sun during a battle but Satan cannot. Do not give Satan the power he hasn’t got.
“You have turned my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness” (Psalm 30:11). Have you been mourning and weeping? The Lord is taking away your garment of sorrow. The Lord is drying up your tears now. He is putting on you a beautifully coloured robe and dancing shoes. Your mourning is becoming celebration and dancing. Your sorrow is becoming everlasting joy. Take heart beloved and worship the Almighty God. Your sun has begun to rise. Its rise shall end well. Your adversaries shall be silent forever and hang their heads in shame. It is well with you.
MEMORIZE: PSALM 30:11 –You have turned my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.
