GOAT IN SHEEP’S SKIN?

READ: JOHN 21:15-17
“He says to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, love you Me? He says to Him, Yea Lord; You know that I love You. He says to him, Feed My sheep” (John 21:16).
In John 21:15-17, the Lord instructed Peter to feed His sheep and lambs. In God’s house, there is food for sheep and lambs but none for goats. Christ did not send pastors to oversee goats but sheep. God do not receive instruction but sheep follow instructions. In Genesis 1:24-25, God created the animals after their kind. As a result, goats will bring forth goats, sheep will bring forth sheep. In other words, it takes a sheep under Christ to raise a sheep.
By the offspring of animals, you will identify where they are from. If you see a kid, you can tell it is from a goat, no matter how much the mother claims to be a sheep. At best it is a goat in sheep skin. If you cannot raise godly children who will resemble Jesus, it is most likely you do not resemble Jesus. If you are a minister of God and your children are children of belial, it goes to show that you are not a true minister of Jesus. You are either a hypocrite or a satanic minister. You are known by your fruit. Your children are your fruit.
If Jesus is your Shepherd, you must be willing to His sheep. Jesus is Shepherd over sheep not goats. As Jesus is playing the role of a Shepherd, you should also play your role as a sheep. A sheep must know his boundaries and stay linked to the shepherd according to Psalm 91:1. How close should a sheep be to his shepherd? As close as his shadow. As powerful as the shepherd is, if the sheep strays, it becomes an easy prey for devourers. According to Proverbs 21:16, the sheep that strays from the shepherd is exposed to death. This is why the sheep should always listen and promptly obey any instruction from the shepherd. Are you a sheep? Is Jesus Christ your Shepherd? How obedient are you to the voice of the Shepherd? Do you recognize His voice? Do you habour traits of a goat?
MEMORIZE: PROVERBS 21:16 –The man that wanders out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
