A GREAT CHANGE

READ: 1SAMUEL2:1-10
There are times in life when you need a change of location in order to experience a breather. A change of location may be what you need in order to step into your miracle. You may need to break new grounds if you must experience professional fulfillment. Here are times when some people have experienced the greatest breakthroughs by moving into a new environment, or accepting a new challenge. You may ask, “How can I change my location?” With God’s help, it is possible for you to change your location. It is possible for God to take someone from the dunghill and put him or her on the throne. 1 Samuel 2:7-8 says: “The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory.” I prefer the throne to the dunghill. It is time to change location from the dunghill to the throne. In Samuel 16:11-12, David was in the jungle looking after the sheep when, one day, God came for him and he had a change of location. It was dramatic. His father never thought he could become a king. He was ordained a king and God worked it out for the reigning king to invite him to the palace, without knowing that he was inviting his successor. In Exodus 3:1-12, the Bible tells us the story of Moses. The Bible tells us that he was at the backside of a desert, a forgotten 40-year-old fugitive. Everybody had written him off, even he himself. The Almighty God picked him up from there and changed his location; he became a leader of a nation. In 1 Kings 18:17-20, for three and a half years, Elijah was running from Ahab; God changed his situation and he became the commander of an army. In Psalm 113:7-9, the Bible says, “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needyout of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes-with the princes of His people.” The Almighty God is able to change your location if you allow Him. He can take you from the congregation of the dead and put you in the Church of the first-born. He can take you from the society of ‘dogs’ (Matthew 15:21-26) and transfer you to the fellowship of sons (John 1:11-12).
MEMORIZE: PSALM62:11 –God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God.
