READ: ACTS 5:12-16
The God that we serve
has everything in abundance. He is with us according to the measure of His
super abundance. What we receive from God, however, often depends on the
capacity of our faith and expectation. Your faith and expectation is largely
determined by what you know about the Giver. I began to learn a lot about God
as the Great Provider after I became born again. Unlike my poor parents, I
discovered that God has an inexhaustible storehouse that contains everything
that I would ever need on earth. It took a while to change my mindset. After
knowing this secret, I started aiming at getting the best and also helping
millions of people all over the world to equally benefit from this divine
largesse.
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
If there is anything believers living in this end time should know, it is the secret of receiving the double portion from the Lord. In john 10:10, Jesus says He has opened the door into abundance for you. Abundance here refers to the double portion. It is comparable with having several pairs of shoes or change of dresses and suits than you can ever cope with. A double portion speaks to surplus. The early disciples understood this very well. They travelled first class and lived in the realm of abundance. In miracles, they enjoyed the double portion. When the anointing of the Holy Spirit came upon them, it was in abundance. According to our reading, the shadows of the disciple began to heal the sick because of the realm of spiritual abundance they lived in. ask God for it. But do not stop there. Seek it until you find it.
