THE GREATESS WEDDING

READ: REVELATION 19:5-9
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
A trumpet blast will herald Christ’s second advent. The purpose of this trumpet sound is to publicly announce that the table is set, all preparations for the Wedding of weddings are finished and the wedding procession can begin. After this trumpet sound, the Lord will take over from heaven and transform us into our immortal bodies and we will meet Him in the air. This will be followed by a presentation. Jesus Christ our husband will present us to His Father who will conduct the wedding of Jesus Christ and His bride – the Church, in a most remarkable wedding that will join the heavens with the earth.
On that great day, the pastor to minister will be God the Father. The Bridegroom is Jesus Christ and I, together with all born-again and raptured saints of the Church-age will be the bride. John the Baptist will be the Best man, and Ruth, the Chief bridesmaid. The orchestra at that wedding will comprise 144000 men. They will render two special numbers. One will be composed by Moses while Jesus Christ will compose the second (Revelation 15:3). The wedding venue will be in the air – the galaxies, which is presently is the headquarters of the satanic kingdom (Ephesians 2:2).
In every earthly marriage where a man and a woman are satisfied that they have found their missing rib, they looked forward with lots of excitement towards the day of their wedding. In John 17, look forward with so much excitement towards this moment, Jesus Christ on His last night on earth asked the father to glorify Him with the glory He once shared with Him before the creation of earth. He also requested that the Father should take good care of His bride – the Church, before He returns for them. If you are a part of this bride, you are very important to God. Whatever the devil may try to use to derail you from God’s track will fail because nothing can pluck you out of the hands of the Father (John 10:29). Are you living daily in expectation of this great event? If you are not, it might mean that your attention is distracted. Keep yourself pure in words, thoughts and deeds. He will come unannounced. Will you be ready when He comes?
MEMORIZE: 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16 –For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
