AND THIS TOO

READ: EXODUS 22:16-17
“And if a man entices a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.” (Exodus 22:16-17).
According to this scripture, if you promised to marry a lady and slept with her, you have to marry her. But if her parents refuse, you will pay a bride price without getting the bride.
If you have acquired anything by fraudulent means, whether wealth, university degree or GCE certificate, you are a thief and must make restitution if you sincerely want to make Heaven. Have you made false mileage claims, or hotel claims? You need to make restitution. There is no room for robbers in Heaven.
Some employers or organisational heads deliberately owe their workers for months. Some, after receiving vote for workers’ emoluments and benefits, put it in a fixed deposit for several months so as to derive interest for themselves, and in the process keep the workers starving. Such people are heartless thieves headed for destruction. Except they repent and make restitution, they will eat the fruit of their doings.
If you have become a professional borrower – always borrowing and never paying back, you are a thief. Go and make restitution. Do you steal your employer’s time by going late to work, leaving before closing time or having extended break periods? You need to make restitution.
Have you lied against somebody and got him into trouble? Have you allowed yourself to be used in deceiving others? Have you schemed to sack someone from his rightful position so that you can replace him? All these are evil seeds that will yield evil harvest. Have you stirred others to rebel against your leader or pastor? At the time of harvest, you would have forgotten you planted such seeds. You can expose your sin and suffer the temporary shame today. That saves you from eternal shame. Go and make restitution for your ways immediately.
MEMORIZE: ACTS 23:16 –...I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
