JOURNEYING THROUGH FIRE

READ: ISAIAH 43:1-5
Are you a promising child of God? Then get ready for a journey through fire. Through your destination is not the fire, you may have to stop over there some times. Your destination is Heaven. You will need to pass through fire to make the devil realise you cannot be stopped by him, his hordes of hell and his various devices.
In Daniel 3:13-25, when the three Hebrew captives had to face fire, they told king Nebuchadnezzar who was the physical representative of Satan then, that their God was superior and more powerful than both himself and his fire. And the Lord arose to prove then right. Why are you afraid to go through fire? Don’t you know that your call for God to prove Himself strong on your behalf is enough to make Satan bring you before fire? And when he does, you will begin to weep and complain. Satan’s fire cannot kill you as long as you put your trust in God. No trial of faith can kill you. The Lord is right there by your side. In fact, you should be sure of His divine presence in the time of trouble. The Lord is keenly watching and following you.
That fire is to prove the strength of your God. The fire of tribulations, lack, sickness, persecution of enemies that you are going through now cannot kill you. The Lord will make a way for you. That fire is also meant to show Satan how limited and powerless he is in your life so that he can treat you with respect from then onwards. Be bold and confident of your Father’s ever abiding presence with you. Know how to commit God in your situations like the three Hebrew children did. Tell Satan that the God that you serve in more powerful than he is and that He will surely deliver you from that fire. Make God proud by turning down every satanic alternative to the fire – that means choose to go through the fire rather than bow down to the idol of Nebuchadnezzar. Praise and worship God right in your fire and the Lord will come in to establish whatever you have said. From today, enjoy your fire and show Satan your God is superior to him.
MEMORIZE: 2 CORINTHIANS 4:17 –For our light affliction which is but for a moment works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
