REVELATION 2:26-29
“He that has an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit says to the churches; to him that overcomes will I give to eat of the
tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7).
The Holy Spirit speaks to His church today. The church comprises everyone who has received Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour. It is our duty to apply our hearts and ears to learn to recognise His voice. If only you can listen, you will hear Him speak to you. He wants to communicate with you daily and at all times. Are your spiritual ears turned to receive from His frequency? When you listen carefully to Him He may give you a command, as it happened in Acts 13:2.
“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereto I have called them.”
In this passage, the Holy Spirit specially chose Barnabas and Saul for an undisclosed assignment. He still has several special assignments to give to those who are worthy in these last days. There are still several vacant thrones in Heaven. Who will qualify for the thrones? Kings are sought to fill these thrones. Suffering, humility, Christ – likeness, total obedience, highest level of sacrifice for Jesus, optimum love for Jesus are some of the qualities needed in those who would be chosen to fill those thrones.
Are you willing, ready and able to obey His command at any time over any matter? Are you qualified to occupy the throne? Do you want to be a king under the King of kings indeed? Can you pay the price? Arise and dedicate yourself to Him afresh and strive to meet His criteria. You might just be the man or woman God has been waiting for all these years to reveal Himself in a very unusual way to the world.
