In the Bible, rain is used to symbolize
blessing. It also means satisfaction for the longing, yearning soul. God has
promised to release His showers of blessing on His children. Have you been
seriously weather-beaten, and scorched by the intense heat of poverty,
financial dryness, sickness, discouragement, disappointment and stagnancy?
Rejoice! This is your season of rains. The Lord will open Heavens and release
His showers upon you and your pressing situation in Jesus name.
In Joel 2:23, you are enjoined to rejoice and be glad. Reject that sorrowful feeling. Reject the feeling of depression. It is not your portion in Jesus name. God promises you both the former and the latter rain. You may have received your early rain. Or you may just be enjoying the early rain presently. That is just the beginning. It is not the end. That blessing you have received that appears too profound, too great and incredible is just the beginning. The height of promotion you have just witnessed is only the beginning. The Lord is just starting with you. The early rain is beginning to fall.
Watch out! There are some booby traps around as the early rains fall. Those caught in them will never receive of the latter rain. Those who cannot handle the former rains of blessings, wealth, promotion, fame, healing, success and greatness with caution, humility, complete obedience, praise and worship to God and a life of holiness will be disqualified from the latter rain which is greater than the former. The former rain is only a minute percentage of the latter rain. Get positioned for the latter rain. This year, you will begin to experience the latter rain of God’s blessings.
The former rain is a test. If you pass this test, you will qualify for the latter rain. You can provoke the latter rain by investing the former. The former is the seed you sow to provoke the latter rain. According to Zechariah 10:1 and Hosea 6:3, the latter rain is reserved for those who know how to ask correctly and provoke it. Arise and take steps today to provoke your latter rain.
