SEED OF VOWS

READ: ECCLESIASTES 5:1-6
There are various way you could provoke your miracle through a seed. You could sow spiritually, by winning souls to Christ (soul-seeds), or by expending your time in dedicated service to the Lord. You could sow in cash by giving the seed in any currency of your choice. You could also sow materially by giving items such as foodstuff, building materials, clothes, cars, houses, pieces of land, jewellery, etc. as your seed. What should determine the size of your seed is the blessing you are expecting. One way or the other, your seed should be commensurate with your desired outcome (blessing). A method some believers have used which has worked for them is to find out the monetary worth of the expected blessing and thereafter sow a tenth as seed. Another is by sowing repeatedly towards their expected outcome (blessing) until it materializes. The one who sows a hundred dollars once towards a blessing worth millions may be disappointed unless he follows any of the above methods.
Believers can also sow through a vow. A vow is a promise of pledge to do something or give something in exchange for a particular blessing. It is very easy to make such a pledge when in dear need of a miracle. Fulfiling it is the problem area for many. On his way to Haram, while fleeing from Esau, Jacob vowed to serve the Lord if He did certain things for him (Genesis 28:10-22). The Lord gave him his desire and he also fulfilled his part. jephtah needed to win a very crucial battle as he was chosen to lead the army of Israel. To provoke that victory, he vowed to sacrifice whatever first comes out of his house (Judges 11:30-40). God gave him victory and he also paid his vow.
Hannah provoke her breakthrough through a vow. She promised if God will give her a son, she will lend him to the Lord forever. God gave her and she fulfiled her vow (1 Samuel 1:9-11, 24-28). You too can vow your way into a miracle. To use the seed of vows, care is required. Think very well before making a vow. Do not let anyone force you to it. When God has done what you asked, ensure you fulfil yours to the letter. Any vow you fail to pay stands to hinder other blessings coming your way. Some believers keep going in vain for delivrance whereas what is blocking their way is the vow they made some time ago which they have forgotten. Forgetting the vow is no excuse hence God warned that you should think well before making your vow. Are you owing God over past vow? Repent and pay up today. Some people have used vows to provoke their blessings. You too can.
MEMORIZE: ECCLESIASTES 5:5 –Better is it that you should not vow, than that you should vow and not pay.
