CORINTHIANS 15:9-11
Christians
are acquainted with several deliverance measures. But one measure many have not
used in evangelism. It is so potent that it can destroy yokes of stagnancy in
your life. Do you have a satanic load or weight upon your head? You may have
tried deliverance, prayers and fasting but it refuses to go; try rigorous and
persistent evangelism. It always works.
Some years ago, a brother applied for a postgraduate course in one of the federal universities in Nigeria. This course meant quite a lot to him. He waited the first year, but heard nothing. He waited the second year but nothing happened. The third year came and passed. By the fourth year He co-operated with the Lord, and began to evangelise in buses, and led several people to Christ. While he was doing this, he met an old colleague of his who told him he just returned from the same school the brother applied to and that he saw his name on the admission list. That was how his admission, which had been delayed for about four years, was released.
Another brother went to preach the word one morning. About five or six people gave their lives to Christ. Thereafter, the Holy Spirit told him He was pleased with what he had done. About two hours later he received a phone call that invited him for a very important meeting which changed his destiny.
Do you want an end to stagnancy in your life? Do you want rapid progress and promotion in your place of work? Do you desire an end to barrenness in your life? Go and preach Christ to sinners and lead many souls to the Lord. According to 1 Corinthians 1:17-24, preaching Christ releases the power of God. Thereafter, the same power returns according to the law of harvest to deliver the preacher and fills him with joy. It was the same power that transformed multitudes of lives while Jesus was in Peter’s boat that also gave him his breakthrough.
