JOB’S RESTORATION

READ: JOB 42:9-17
“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends; also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” (Job 42:10).
Apart from the discussion between God and Satan on Job, another cause of his trial was fear. Job was mightily blessed of God and he had great possessions. He was very wealthy yet he kept serving God serving God faithfully.
But he was never at peace. He kept thinking: Suppose all I have suddenly disappears one day? This thought persisted and became a nightmare until it eventually manifested physically (Job 4:25-26). Fear is a terrible robber. What you fear the most may come to manifestation and that is why you must never allow your heart to be a breeding ground of fear. It can cause to lose all the blessings God has given you. Reject fear today and let good things fill your heart. Rather allow good expectations to persist in your thoughts to enhance their manifestation.
Satan struck and Job lost all. Eventually, God said, ‘Satan it is enough’, and gave Job twice as much as he had before his trial. Have you lost children, wealth, job, promotion through trial of your faith? The LORD will restore you double in Jesus Name. After trial comes divine promotion.
Similarly, all Job’s relatives who abandoned him during his trial returned to console him. But this time rather than be a liability, each became a blessing to him. Have your friends and loved ones abandoned you during your trial/ they will come back and become a blessing to you.
The latter end of Job was greater than his beginning and he lived 140 years more and enjoyed the rest of his days. This shall be your portion. Your latter end shall be greater than your beginning. You shall live long to enjoy God’s blessing and restoration. Satan would have regretted attacking Job because by his action, he had made God to promote Job above where he was. Concerning your life, Satan will have reason to regret.
