LAZARUS RESTORED TO LIFE

READ: JOHN 11:32-44
Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha, were friends to Jesus. They loved Him and supported His ministry. One day, Lazarus took ill. His sisters immediately sent for Jesus to come and heal him but the Lord delayed until the sickness aggravated to the point of death. Thereafter, Jesus got up to go and meet them.
To Martha and Mary and even the Jews present, the power of Jesus could only avail in preventing the occurrence of death. After death, Jesus would be powerless. Jesus saw their unbelief and wept.
Today, many Christians still limit God’s power in their lives. Moses could trust God to shake Egypt with terrible signs and wonders and part the Red Sea, yet he could not believe God to heal his stammering tongue. Do you exercise faith for the healing and deliverance for other and see God actually honouring your faith yet you cannot trust God with the same faith to receive materiel blessings or healing for yourself or family? Such acts of limitation make God’s heart bleed.
Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the Life. That means there is nothing dead that can be permanently dead when He is around. Is your womb said to be dead? It will come alive. Is your brain said to be dead? It will come alive. Is your business, ministry, health, finance going through some kind of death? In the name of Jesus, they will come back to life.
“Jesus says to her, Said I not to you that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)
You have to believe He can do it. Invite the Resurrection and the Life into that dead situation in your life and see Him restore life.
MEMORIZE: JOHN 11:40 –Jesus says to her, Said I not to you that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?
