ENTERING THE SUPERNATURAL

READ: JEREMIAH 15:19-21
God is holy and as a result demands His children to be holy before releasing spiritual gifts to them. There reasons for this. First, those who operate the gifts of the Spirit are usually targets of the satanic kingdom. If they are not pure, they will be easy preys for the enemy. Also, God3s gifts are precious and pure to God. Another reason is to prevent the operator of the gifts from becoming a cast away at the end. Do you really desire the anointing and gifts of the Holy Spirit? Take time to build on your Christian character, made possible by the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
“Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).
Holiness is the foundation for the anointing. Anointing without holiness is like a building without foundation. It is bound to crumble! If you are holy, you will become God’s mouth piece and whatever you say, will happen. If you cannot stay away from sin, do not make the mistake of asking for the gifts. The gifts of God cannot be bought with money. God wants every Christian to have them. The rich can have them. The poor also can have them.
“Give not that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7:6).
Dogs refer to fornicators and adulterers. If you cannot keep a distance from sexual sins – in thoughts, words and actions, you are automatically disqualified from the precious gifts of the Spirit. Swines refer to sinners and particularly those who do abominable things. If you are a sexual pervert, or deliberately live in sin, God’s gifts will be far-fetched. God wants all His children to make it to Heaven. It is better to see God without any gift of the Holy Spirit than to have all the gifts and end up in hell. The choice is yours. Begin to build the foundation for your spiritual endowment today.
MEMORIZE: MATTHEW 7:6 –Give not that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast you your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
