A popular maxim says,
opportunity once lost can never be regained. This holds true in most situations
except when God enters the equation. Restoration is another benefit of
partnership with God. Our God can reverse what appears irrevocable. In today’s
reading, God had to suspend the law of gravity for His loved ones to recover
the missing axe head. Similarly, in John 11:21-25, Lazarus, a beloved disciple
of Jesus was raised back to life. If life had ebbed from your body, it can be
restored. With Him, it is never too late. Once He steps into your situation,
there will be a restoration.
A wealthy chief was paralysed downwards from his waits. After visiting the best hospital in London for eight months, the verdict of the doctors was that there was nothing else they could do to change his state of health. Apparently, they had gotten to the limits of medical science and human ability. Afterwards, he was brought to us for prayers with the assistance of six men. We asked him to surrender to Jesus Christ and he did. After this he walked out of the living room into his car unassisted. Have you lost financial, material or intellectual blessings? Have you lost honour, self-worth, health or old glory? They can be restored if you become His friend and fellowship with Him.
Has someone sat on your promotion for years? The Lord will promote you by divine force today. A certain lecturer was denied promotion for 10 years. When a new regime came into power, some heads of department including those who sat on his promotion were sacked. A new head was sent to his department. On resumption, the new head called for the files of all his staff and in the process discovered that this lecturer’s file was hid for 10 years so that he would not be recommended for promotion. Thereafter, he was given double promotion. For your lost years, benefits and blessings, the Lord will give you double. Anyone sitting on your promotion is about to sack himself or herself. Are you sure you are in fellowship with the Lord? Call on Him now to uproot everyone and everything sitting on your promotion and release a double blessing for your loss.
