A BLAMELESS BRIDE?

READ: PSALM 24:7-10
In John 14:1-3, Jesus said after making the necessary wedding plans and preparations for the marriage, He will come by Himself to take us home. One reason is because no angel may go beyond 1000 miles to God. Another reason according to Psalm 24:7-10 is that there certain doors you have to pass through before you get to heaven, particularly the everlasting gates which will not open to anybody else, including angels except Jesus Christ the King of Glory and the lord of Hosts.
Psalm 73:23-24 says any fellow who closes his eyes in death but has no Jesus, will end up in hell. But if you are one of His brides, the moment you are about to sleep the sleep of death, He will stand by your side, holding your hand. He will lead you through the valley of the shadow of death in comfort and victory (Psalm 23:4). When you arrive at the Gates of eternity, they will lift up their heads and ask, Who is there? When they see it is the King of Glory, the doors will open and Jesus will enter in holding you by His righteous right hand while the angels at the gate will give a bow. And forever you will be in His company.
“That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing” (Ephesians 5:27). If you are born again, Jesus Christ is your husband. You have been bethrothed to Him. He has paid your dowry. He has gone to prepare for your wedding and He is coming very soon to take you home. If you value this, it will definitely affect your conduct and life-style. You have by virtue of this become His favorite. The favorite wife of a powerful king or president of a nation should not be seen committing adultery with her driver and messenger. It is unthinkable! How can the wife of the president be engaged in street fighting or other ignoble deeds? Your position is far greater than that. You are the wife of the King of kings, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Your position must reflect and affect your disposition and conduct. You must avoid anything in deeds, thoughts, words and carriage capable of soiling your wedding garment. He is coming for a blameless bride. How blameless are your works and deeds in your office? How blameless is your service to Him? If He returns for you now, will you be spotless?
