IS SIN THE CAUSE?

READ: ACTS 3:1-10
We read of the story of a lame man in Acts 3:1-10. He was lame from his mother’s womb. His problem started before he was born. He was bound before birth and started life with a very serious handicap. Going by human approach to the issue, the handicap was irreversible. He was a burden to himself and his family. He was daily carried to the gate of the temple and returned in the evening. It appeared it was going to be so for life. But one day he encountered the Holy Ghost and his day of visitation came. He was healed. Are you having similar antecedents? Do you have a problem that came with you from the womb? Today is your day of visitation. Your time has come. Be free in Jesus name.
Why was this man born lame? It is because there is no problem without a cause. Proverbs 26:2 says: “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.” Before a curse alights upon you, somewhere along the line, you must have broken the hedge. This is why if you really want a problem solved, leave the symptoms, and face the roots. Whenever you want to move a mountain (problem), go to the One who knows the origin and find out the cause and how to go about it. For instance, if you find someone who is always suffering from cold, ask the fellow when it started. Romans 6:23 says death is the penalty for sin. Almost invariably the cause of most problems is traceable to sin.
Another reason he was born lame is because most of the problems in the life of children are as a result of the sins of their parents. Most ancestral curses and problems many are battling with today were caused by their parents and grandparents. In 2 Kings 5:20-27, Gehazi lied against Elisha and collected money from Naaman. Later, his master placed a curse on him which turned him and his descendants into lepers. In those days, when somebody proposed to your daughter, you would ask him to go and that you would send for him. Then you would make enquiry about that family. Why? It is because like mother like daughter (Ezekiel 16:44). The life you live today, will definitely impact upon generations after you. The question is, will your siblings inherit blessings or curses? Be careful to sow the right seeds. Every ancestral yoke will be destroyed from your life in Jesus name. is sin the cause of the problem you are facing? Repent of it.
MEMORIZE: JOHN 9:3 –Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
