“Will you set your eyes upon that which is
not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle
toward heaven” (Proverbs
23:5).
Every blessing that comes to you must equally have a solid foundation to enable you enjoy it for a long time. Any wealth, promotion, success, or victory that lacks this will disappear in a short time. The blessing that is established can be enjoyed for a long time. The duration of that blessing lies on how many ingredients of divine establishment it has. If you want your blessing established, strive to possess as many ingredients of divine establishment as possible. It is even better to possess all.
“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us; and establish you the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish you it” (Psalm 90:17). This scripture is saying that after God has provided you a source of livelihood, you have to pay for it to be established. In addition to prayers, let the beauty of God shine upon you. Without this, the work of your hands cannot be established. Also, Proverbs 4:26 says you should thoroughly examine your steps and deeds to ensure you are in the right path your ways are to be established.
Some people sustain their businesses through lies. Anything you build on lies is for a short time hence Proverbs 12:19 says truth must be employed if the blessing is to be sustained. Apart from these, righteousness is the ingredient that sustains authority and dominion (Proverbs 16:12). Sometimes you will need to seek proper counsel so as to be established (Proverbs 20:18). Faith and trust in God to establish you is equally crucial (Isaiah 7:9). In addition you need mercy (Isaiah 16:5), wisdom (Jeremiah 10:12), grace (Hebrews 13:9), the truth of God’s Word (2 Peter 1:12). Apart from these, effective and faithful tithing helps to establish your blessing. Every tithe you pay is a building block for establishing your blessings. Habakkuk 2:12 says: “Woe to him that builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity”. What are the carnal efforts you employ to secure your job? Dump them today. You cannot establish a good thing through evil or satanic means. Adopt these ingredients of divine establishment and your blessings will be established. The Lord will establish you as you obey.
