READ: PSALM 122:1-9
“And I will bless them that bless you, and
curse him that curses you; and in you shall all families of the earth be
blessed” (Genesis 12:3).
Among the original seven promises the Lord made to Abraham, He told him that He will bless those that bless him and curse those that curse him. God meant every word He said to Abraham. If you take a look at the history of the Israelites, you will discover that all the countries that are in league with them are at peace, but any nation that fights against them are always in trouble.
Why is our nation in trouble today? Despite all the natural resources that we are blessed with we are still begging for food! The reason is that we do not like Israel. America is prospering because they are friend of Israel but the day they turn against them, they will start have problems. So also Germany, Britain and Egypt. If you want God to bless you; when you wake up in the morning; say: ‘God bless the Jews’. As God’s promise to Abraham is affecting his physical descendants; so also his spiritual descendants. Galatians 3:13-14 says the day you gave your life to Jesus Christ, you became a spiritual Jew – a child of Abraham.
In Romans 2:28-29, the scripture says the spiritual Jew is more of a Jew than the physical descendants. This means as a child of God, you have more right to the Abrahamic covenant blessings through Jesus Christ than the physical descendants of Abraham. In any office where believers in Christ are persecuted, hated, molested, marginalized, denied their rights and benefits, God’s wrath is kindled. Any nation or government that fights against born again Christian is fighting against God and you can be sure they are calling for real trouble.
The wise employers will identify believers in Christ and treat them with respect and caution. That is what will bring the Abrahamic blessing such believers are carrying upon them to positively affect the fortunes of that business. If any nation wants peace, it must take good care of all spiritual Jew – all those who are born again in it. Until that is done, true peace and progress may be elusive.
