CRUCIAL CHOICE

 READ: MATTHEW 5:14-16
“And Elijah came to all the people, and said, How long halt you between two opinion? If the LORD be God, follow Him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” (1 Kings 18:21).
You have a choice to make today. Before the fire of God falls, you have to choose whether to go with the devil or Jesus. There is no room for those who want to enjoy the sinful pleasures of the world and the benefits of God’s Kingdom at the same time. You cannot mix your faith in Christ with holy water, sanctified soap or red candle. It cannot work. In Deuteronomy 30:19, God says you should choose either life or death. You cannot have both. It is either blessing or curse. It is either heaven or hell.
“So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:16).
God wants you to either be 100% hot or 100% cold. If you are midway, 50-50, He will have nothing to do with you but spue you out. If you want to serve Jesus, go with Him all they way. Let people call you fanatic. It is in place. Some people will shout the loudest Halleluya in church and appear like an angel on Sunday morning. But the time you encounter them in the office on Monday morning, their behavior will prove otherwise. You will be sure they are the children of ‘Belial.’
In Matthew 5:16 Jesus says the reason He made you the light of the world is so that you can shine. If your faith in Christ cannot bring an end to that dubious, sinful character in your life, you will become a vomit candidate. If your faith in Christ cannot bring about a drastic change in your life, your salvation is suspect. Lukewarm Christians are neither here nor there, neither for nor against. As a result, compromise is the hallmark of their faith. Anytime they are about to be ridiculed for their faith in Christ, like Peter, they will deny their Lord so that they can be seen to belong! Hence the Lord is so ashamed of them that He has no option than to discard them. May He not spue you out of His mouth. It is time to serve the Lord correctly, not according to your own thinking but according to His terms. Are you ready?
MEMORIZE: REVELATION 3:16 –So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of My mouth.
