READ: 2 CHRONICLES
20:16-21
This year, you are in
for uncommon breakthroughs in Jesus name. However, how you respond to the word
of God and regard His servant have ways of determining whether what God has
spoken concerning you will be fulfilled. 2 Chronicles 20:20b says, “…Hear
me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so
shall you be established; believe His prophets, so shall prosper.”
While ministering on December 31st several years ago, the Lord spoke to me saying, ‘There is somebody in the crowd who is having problem paying his rent. In the new year, he will become a landlord.’ Many who heard that word of knowledge did not pay attention to it. However, a young man who was a messenger in a particular organisation received the prophetic word and shouted a loud ‘Amen.’ He refused to limit his blessing to the unpleasant circumstances surrounding him. As work resumed in the new year, he decided to pay the Managing Director of his organization a visit. After exchanging pleasantries, his boss looked at him and asked, ‘What can I give to you?’ The question took him by surprise so he stammered, ‘Anything…sir.’ The Managing Director’s reply was a bolt from the blue.
He said, ‘I applied for government housing in the new estate and a house has been allocated to me there. I do not need it. Let me bless you with it. Here are the keys.’ This messenger received the keys as if he was in trance. He went to locate the apartment and discovered it was a beautiful house. Tears of joy filled his eyes. When he got to the office the following day, he fell on his knees before his Managing Director in appreciation. Then the Managing Director said he just remembered that there was no furniture in that new house, and because he changes his furniture every Christmas, he asked should be content with taking the old furniture and fittings in his house. He then asked his driver to move those things to the messenger’s house. This was how God built a house and furnished it for a messenger who couldn’t pay his house rent. God asked me to share this story with you and tell you that there is somebody who is reading this, who will not only become a landlord but a blessed owner of a housing estate. However, the Lord says when the miracle comes to pass, ensure you treat your tenants well. You will enter into your breakthrough. Believe and receive God’s word.
